 | I am a graduate of Howard University in Washington DC where I majored in Biology and minored in mathematics. I have had research experiences in cancer biology where I studied the effects of magnetic silver and iron nano-particles on colon and prostate cancer and in bacteriology where I studied mechanism of colony formation in Pseudomonas aeruginonasa and its effects in the Cystic Fibrosis lung.
My present interests have been somewhat shaped by my past experiences. However, I am totally open and excited to learn new things, get different experiences, become part of a friendly and nurturing environment and meet new people.
Outside of science, I am a big sports fan. I enjoy watching and playing sports especially soccer. I also enjoy reading, listening to music and taking long walks because they help me to relax. |
