2009 marks the launch of the first American Chemical Society Fellows program, and five faculty members in our department are among the inaugural group honored for their accomplishments. Professors Ron Breslow, Koji Nakanishi, Ged Parkin, Gilbert Stork, and Nick Turro were selected for "true excellence in their contributions to the chemical enterprise coupled with distinctive service to ACS or to the broader world of chemistry." Congratulations to Ron, Koji, Ged, Gilbert, and Nick! You can read more about the ACS fellows program on the
ACS Fellows website.
